A massive development in the downtown Victoria area has now been cleared to begin, with city council approving a rezoning application for the 10-acre Roundhouse at Bayview Place development site.
On July 3, council approved the rezoning application for the project, located at adjacent properties at 251 Esquimalt Rd., 355 Catherine St. and 210 Kimta Rd. near the Johnson Street bridge.
The project proposes roughly 2,000 residential units across nine buildings, ranging from 10 to 32 storeys each.
